- Regretted how imprudent I was to get distracted by my own tendencies to count sheep every waking moment. I need to control my daydreaming.
- Acquired some kind of a freak illness every one week intervals. I experienced three rounds of fever, asthma attacks, coughs, colds and a week of pink eyes.
- Had the chance to catch up on my reading challenge. I’m on my 26th book. Right now I’m reading Walden by Thoreau and he’s a total hipster of his generation.
- Having been able to complete a cinderellean amount of household chores. Everyone in the house expects me to wipe out all the mess and make my own bed. Sometimes I gratify them, sometimes, my mother’s head blows off, figuratively speaking.
- Watched five seasons of Family Guy. Could have gone all the way until the 9th season if only the DVDs are available in this part of the world.
- Drank a lot of coffee.
- Ate a lot! God gave us Carbonara! I worshipped it fervently.
- Created my master plan on acing academics to be applied this upcoming semester.
- Actually blogged a lot this summer and most post possess a great amount of sense.
- Looked over my internet browser history and cringed when I saw all the indiscriminate, unspeakable, embarrassing, hostile things I’ve explored and searched in the internet.
- Deleted my Facebook account, survived and is astonishingly happy about it.
- Watched a bunch of Youtube videos from ETs to Philoctetes, from Emily Rose to Justin Beiber Groping Selena Gomez’ Butt and all the weird, stupid things that justify the idiocy of the human race.
- Overslept! That’s a charming development.
- Had the chance to be with my anam cara – my little bro!
- Had the chance to meet up with friends once in a while. Talked about whereabouts and howabouts. Practiced the intricate and critical art and science of socialization which I would never take as a major or a minor in college.
- Wrote a bunch of crap on my journal. Reminder: Buy a new notebook. Old one’s full of vehement scribbles.
- Updated my MP3, deleted old songs and downloaded some Folk. Theory proven: as you grow older, you grow wiser and your musical tastes evolve.
- Struggled in my DIY Inspiration Jar. It’s finished. I’m glad to see a junk masterpiece in my shelf.
- Surely read a lot of English poems but of course, the old dilettante me failed to memorize one single complete poem.
- Audio books are great, but the physical book itself is just tops. The feeling, the crisp worn-out edges, the smell makes up a book. I lust after Kindle though. One can only imagine.
- Made lists worse than these.
- Pine over Ben Barnes.
- Notice that Summer is not well spent at all for I haven't been to a beach or went to a roadtrip or climbed a mountain. I'm such a disgrace to the 'you're young, full of life, enjoy, see the world' realm most teenagers live in. But I relaxed to lees and that's what matters to me.
