Vinyl

  1. Crazy for this Girl by Evan and Jason – I only heard this song because it was on my sisters Ipod. The first time I heard it, I felt young at once. The melody is just striking, the lyrics are so juvenile and it's simply so high school. I changed the lyrics to fit my needs. I changed it into, "when I look at him he looks at me, he's got me thinking about him constantly but he doesn't know what I feel." This song is about having a crush on someone, but she doesn't know anything about it. You drop clues after clues hoping he'll get it. You think about him constantly. Like I said, the whole point of the song is about young love.
  2. Half of my Heart by John Mayer and Taylor Swift – I just love how this song use a lot of metaphors and it keeps you on the edge trying to figure out what it really means. For me, I think it's about loving someone only with half of your heart. This song refers to someone who never really loved anyone. He really wants to give more to his special someone because she deserves it, but he just can't give all of his heart to her, because he never truly loved anyone in his life. But then, he is trying really hard because he just can't stop loving this girl and doesn't want to lose her.
  3. Everything by Michael Buble – This song uses metaphors excessively and that's what I love about it. It's basically about someone who thinks that the one he loves is his everything. So sweet, but very cheesy, yet I can't stop listening.
  4. From Where You Are by Lifehouse – This song is my theme for my best friends Rey and Jay. First time I heard it, it just hit home for me. This song makes me sad and glad at the same time. I miss my best friends so much, and I can see then everywhere I go. Sometimes, it scares me that eventually I won't mean anything to them anymore because these miles have torn us apart.
  5. Hologram by Katie Helzig – This song is about a girl with intimacy issues, like me. She wants to have somebody but is afraid of a commitment. Pathetic, huh? I just love how I can dance to this song.
