A girl thinking nobody will see her is finally on cloud nine at the fact that somebody finally came to love her for who she is. It’s like despite all the hundreds of other fish in the sea, all more fine-looking and some perfect, she was chosen by this person. “Like an apple on a tree hiding out behind the leaves I was difficult to reach but you picked me.”
Somebody Loved by The Weepies
Adorable music from this couple/duet. To me, this song is about saying goodbye to first true love. The song tells that love comes naturally like the rain, or the stars or the wind. My interpretation maybe far-off but I think “We never said what we were dreaming of” means that even though they didn’t tell each other their feelings, they both knew it was strong, that something powerful binds them. The lines “Now my feet turn the corner back home, Sun turns the evening to rose, Stars turning high up above” is about leaving, or finally leaving for that matter. Evening represent last wonderful seconds of their relationship.
It makes me a bit sad to listen to this, but happy, too. This song is very special.

This song is catchy, almost like any other Kelly Clarkson song but I love the lyrics of this one because I can relate. This song is about new found love. It’s like two people who went through a lot in their past but now that they’ve found each other it’s the birth of that la-la-love feeling again. Being together felt as if the planets are all aligned and just like that, chemicals react!
Brighter than Sunshine by Aqualung
I’ve always loved the sadness Aqualung songs bring me. Brighter than Sunshine is different. This song actually had a profound heavenly effect on me. Very nice and well written lyrics and the beats/music is just right. The song tells about how wonderful and crazy at the same time love is. The singer is experiencing another phenomenon that he never knew will happen to him again. To me, this song had a trance-like state.
